IELTS Preparatory Course
Prepare for academic success with the new IELTS Preparatory Course offered through the Intensive English Program (IEP) at Lingua Language Center at Broward College. This 12-week elective is designed for advanced English learners who want to strengthen the academic language and test-taking skills needed for the IELTS Academic exam and future university studies in the United States.

Developed for students with CEFR C1 proficiency, the course provides focused instruction in the four sections of the IELTS Academic Test: Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking. Students practice with exam-style materials, timed activities, mock tests, and guided feedback while building confidence in academic English communication.

The course also emphasizes practical strategies such as note-taking, skimming and scanning, essay organization, pronunciation, fluency, vocabulary development, and time management. Interactive classroom activities, collaborative tasks, and speaking simulations support active participation and student engagement throughout the program.

Entry Requirements
