Why Learning English In

Person Outperforms Online

01

You practice English from the moment you leave class. At Lingua Miami, immersion doesn't stop at the classroom door. Restaurants, shops, public transport, and daily interactions with classmates from dozens of countries give you real English practice that no online course can

replicate.

Our EnterTraining method only works live. Lingua's exclusive EnterTraining℠ methodology is built on multi-sensory activation — visual, auditory, and physical engagement in real time. It requires the energy of a real classroom and real people around you.

03

Progress is measurably faster. Students who combine Lingua's in-person instruction with daily immersion in Miami's English-speaking environment move through levels faster than students who study exclusively online. The city is part of the curriculum.

EnterTraining: Our Exclusive Approach to Language Learning

Most language schools treat grammar as a set of rules to memorize. At Lingua, grammar is a tool for communication — introduced in context, practiced through conversation, and reinforced through situations you will actually encounter in daily life.

EnterTraining℠ combines entertainment and training. The methodology is grounded in neuro-linguistic principles, activating multiple senses simultaneously — visual, auditory, and physical — so that the language becomes part of how you think, not just something you study.

Every class uses guided conversations, games, music, hands-on projects, video and audio programs, and interactive online activities alongside up-to-date full-color textbooks. The emphasis is always on speaking and real communication first.

For students in customized programs, the process begins with a Student Profile and Objectives form and a Preferred Senses Test. This identifies your optimal learning channels so every session is designed around how you personally learn best.

Frequently Asked questions miami (doral)

Frequently Asked questions miami (doral)

  • Is Lingua Miami authorized to issue F-1 student visas?

Yes. Lingua's Doral campus is certified by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security to enroll international students and issue I-20 documents for F-1 visa applications.

  • Can I start if I have no English at all?

Yes. The Intensive English Program begins at Level 1, which is designed for students with no prior experience in English. Enrollment is open every Monday throughout the year. There is no minimum proficiency requirement to enroll.

  • What is the difference between the Intensive and Semi-Intensive programs?

The Intensive Program runs 18 classroom hours per week and is required for F-1 visa compliance, as SEVIS mandates a minimum of 18 hours per week for full-time international students. begin. Approved annual vacation periods are not counted toward this 36-month instructional limit. From Level 1 through Level 7, without taking any vacation periods, the Intensive English Program typically takes approximately 21 months to complete. This limit includes time spent in the General English levels and, when applicable, eligible Academic and Professional English courses taken after successful completion of IEP Level 7.

  • What certificate will I receive?

Students receive a Certificate of Completion upon successfully completing each level of the Intensive English Program. Students who

successfully complete IEP Level 7 receive a Certificate of English Proficiency. This certificate may be accepted by certain Lingua partner institutions as evidence of English language readiness and, depending on the institution’s admissions policies and the applicant’s eligibility, may be considered in place of TOEFL or IELTS score requirements.
